Great Customer feedback on our Soapstone Pizza Stones

Very well packaged and even better looking Soapstone!

Really nice end product and couldn’t ask for a better fit or function

It really does cook the pizzas faster and better: crust comes out nice  & brown now before the top is burnt which was close to impossible with the original Ooni pizza stones.

Minimal temperature drop between pizzas as well.

We use wood & charcoal in our Ooni oven and the temperatures used to swing wildly (over 1,000 deg. at times) throughout the preheat / cooking time and very hard to maintain any kind of even temperature, whereas with your Soapstones in the oven instead  of the Ooni pizza stones, the oven came up to temperature very slowly and steady and seemed to stop rising at roughly 800 deg., which is absolutely perfect, couldn’t ask for better results!.

I took some photos of the Ooni Pro with your Soapstone in it as requested.

I labelled some of them for clarity reasons; I also put a yellow circle on the one photo (“Ooni Pro with Soapstone Clearance.jpg”) where anyone putting the 1-3/16” thick stones into an Ooni Pro will need to bend the tabs over with a pair of pliers for a good fit.

It’s very thin stainless steel and folds over very easily.

We made Detroit style pizza this time with your Soapstone Pizza Stones and yet again was a vast improvement over the original Ooni pizza stones.

They baked much faster from the bottom without burning the top as before, even at elevated temps for Detroit pizza.

The Soapstone hold so much heat, there’s little heat lost after cooking on them.

I measured less than a 100 F drop after 10 minutes cook time with the Detroit pizzas whereas the Ooni stones would lose at least 200-300 F after the same time.

The difference in cooking with your Soapstone versus the Ooni pizza stones is night day different.

The Ooni now acts more like a very temperature stable oven that stays at temperature while cooking which was something I could never before achieve with the Ooni pizza stones.

Now whatever we put in the Ooni oven cooks evenly from the bottom to the top. No more burned top pizzas trying to get the crust to cook a bit more.

Your Soapstone Pizza Stone completely changed the Ooni cooking experience for the better.
